Mischaela’s Background

Elkins was born on March 27, 1989, in the United States of America, earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Indiana University Kelley School of Business and master’s degree in business administration from Instituto de Empresa in Madrid, Spain. Modeling, dancing, traveling, shopping, and learning about other cultures have always been high on the list of passions.

Starting As A Model And Becoming Miss Universe

While in college, Mischaela participated in many fashion competitions and started modeling in 2009, at a very young age, when she entered Elite’s New Faces Model Call, where Elkins was one of three models chosen out of 300 to receive a callback. Mischaela then worked full-time as a model for four years and part-time on special assignments for another eight years, totaling a twelve-year career! The model’s worked on so many fashion shows and beauty-related projects to get where she is today.

                                          

Over the years, Elkins has modeled for several prominent brands such as Vera Wang, Cle de Peau, Graff, and Paloma Blanca, among others. The model has worked as a model and brand ambassador for brands in the swimwear category such as Luli Fama, Beach Bunny Swimwear, Agua Bendita, and Vizcaya Swimwear. Mischaela is also a brand ambassador for Intimissimi’s “In Action” organic cotton athletic gear line, as well as LA MER and L’Oreal. She has been nominated for the”Bombshell Because” Award in Victoria’s Secret’s Bombshell’s Day campaign as well.

Elkins was named Top Model Peru Season 14, and also got to represent her lineage as Miss Global Indigenous Americas at the Miss Global 2021 event in Indonesia. In the same year 2021, Mischaela competed for Ms. Universe and won the title of reigning Ms. Universe, being one of 50 delegates from all across the world who attended.

The model has appeared as a cover model for a variety of countries such as the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, and many more. Elkins has received numerous awards for modeling such as Ms. Universe, Miss Peru, Miss Global Indigenous America, Elite Beauty Miss Photogenic Award, Best in Evening Gown, and many more.  

Mischaela Elkins is a firm believer in taking on new challenges and putting in long hours. The model is a brilliant and diligent woman who has also made a name for herself in the fashion and business world.
