Blue Gold Works begins distribution of plant-based water purification filters in Africa

December 14 19:24 2019

Fairfax, CA – Blue Gold Works, a for-profit social impact company providing water purification services across impoverished African communities, has announced a campaign to expand its services.

“Our company seeks to provide vital water purification services to nearly three hundred thousand households in Africa, allowing them to reduce waterborne illnesses like Cholera, increase their household incomes, and send their children to school”, said Lynn Langford, Founder, and CEO of Blue Gold Works Inc.

“Right now we are dependent on crowdfunding and social impact investors”, said Alex Omijeh, Director of Marketing for Blue Gold Works.  “In three years, though, we plan to fund the expansion of our water for all efforts with revenues from our Organic Moringa oil and monofloral honey.”

Blue Gold Works allows local female “Waterpreneurs” in developing nations to treat and sell drinking water that is safer, less expensive, and more convenient than all current competitors.  In less than 90 minutes a day, using a Blue Gold Works eco-friendly filter, waterpreneurs can serve 3 households clean water for 2 years.

About Blue Gold Works

Blue Gold Works uses revenues from our Organic Moringa oil and mono-floral honey business to fund the expansion of its sustainable drinking water campaign, run exclusively by African women waterpreneurs. In Africa, two-thirds of all public efforts to provide clean water fail within five years due to inefficiency, inadequate infrastructure, lack of training, and maintenance. Blue Gold Works uses best-in-class private sector business techniques to sustainably provide clean, safe and affordable drinking water.
